Who is Santa Muerte:

Cherished in Mexico, South America, and in many parts of the United States, Santa Muerte is the sacred figure of “Holy Death.” Santa Muerte is a folk spirit and her origins begin as far back as Mesoamerica. In contemporary culture, she has been merged into the Catholic belief system. She is often represented as a skeletal figure and she usually is depicted with a globe and scythe.

She has many names and can be referred to as “Most Powerful Lady,” “The White Lady” and “Beloved Death.” Santa Muerte is traditionally prayed to over a period of nine days. She is represented by many different colors and each color has its own magical intention, please see below. 

How to use Santa Muerte Oil:

Don’t underestimate the power of Santa Muerte, her favorite offerings are rum, baked goods such as cakes, cookies, or sweetened bread. She is also fond of candy, fresh flowers. and make sure to always leave out a fresh bowl of water for her. You may either choose to work with a small statue of Santa Muerte or you may simply print out an image of her and place it on your altar. She can be represented by a number of colors.
