How to Use in a Ritual or Spell
To perform a protection ritual, write your intention or petition on a piece of brown paper or parchment. Fold it away from you three times, placing it beneath your candle. Light the votive while reciting a prayer, affirmation, or protective psalm such as Psalm 91 or Psalm 141. Burn one candle each day for three consecutive days to strengthen your energetic defenses. When finished, dispose of any remnants at a crossroads or bury them near your front entrance to reinforce ongoing protection.
