The Venus Love & Attraction Spell for Wiccan & Pagan Rituals

With Valentine’s Day quickly coming upon us, we have been getting a ton of questions about love spells. So, I’ve decided to put up one of my all time favorite love and attraction spells. For fans of goddess invocations, you are going to love this one! This ritual focuses on the Roman goddess, Venus. Of course, any goddess of fertility, beauty and sexuality can be used. Just make sure you take the time to research what your particular choice of Goddess is associated with. What was sacred to her? What offerings were made to her historically? You get the picture.

For our particular ritual, you are going to need the following:

• A fresh glass of wine
• An apple or pomegranate
• A bowl of honey
• 2 pink or red candles
• An image of Venus or Aphrodite (her Greek counterpart)
• A piece of parchment paper and pen
• Fresh roses.
• Venus Love Oil or Aphrodite Love Oil (optional)
• Sea shells (optional)
• Frankincense or Myrrh incense (optional)
• Myrtle leaves (optional)

Set an altar up by placing a picture of Venus directly in the center of the altar. Place one candle to left of her and one candle to the right of her. If you feel inclined, you can anoint the candles with Venus Love Oil or simply place a few drops of oil into a bowl of fresh water and place it on your altar table. BTW, If you don’t have Venus Oil, pure olive oil works equally well. Next, place you’re your roses and honey on your altar table. Get your apple or pomegranate and cut it in half. Place this on your altar table.

Next, get your parchment paper and write out your petition. Please keep in mind you are asking Venus to intercede on your behalf. Honor her, acknowledge her power and don’t be demanding! If you have Venus Oil, place a few drops on your parchment paper. Then, place your petition on your altar. If you have shells, incense or myrtle leaves place them on the altar as well.

When ready, light your candle and recite your petition. Feel free to add anything to this. Get personal and let her see who you truly are. Honesty works wonders in invocations. In my opinion, you get better results.
