Aromatherapy uses plant-based essential oils to enhance health and well-being. Long known to bolster body, mind, emotions and spiritual well-being, essential oils are believed to have powerful life-enhancing qualities; perhaps, even to contain the life force of the plants themselves .
The use of essential oils is by no means a new phenomenon. In countless ancient cultures, healers used material derived from plants, roots, trees and fruits to treat a wide variety of physical and psychological ailments. Revered for their unique physical and symbolic properties as well as their healing power, plants and their essential oils have long played an important role in religious, ceremonial and magical practices.
In modern times, essential oils and aromatherapy continue to have many beneficial uses whether your goal is to restore balance to your health, reduce stress or manifest your goals..
