The Spring Equinox Seed Spell for Growth & Abundance

With spring upon us, it’s time to take a moment and contemplate all the areas in our life we wish to grow. This could be anything from a relationship, financial abundance, a new career, or our emotional and spiritual well-being. The transition from late winter to early spring is the perfect time to plant the seeds of our intentions.

You can get as creative as you want and think big. Sometimes it’s  better to allow the universe to manifest our goals and intentions in the most unexpected ways. We simply need to become willing to believe in the vastness of all the potential and possibly that awaits us!

Below is one of our favorite rituals for laying the ground work and ‘planting the seeds” for the areas in our lives we wish to bring to fruition.

What Spell Supplies You Need For The Spring Seed Spell

You will need the following items:

• A green candle
• 7 seeds or beans (can be any variety you feel drawn to such as sunflower, sesame or flax seeds)
• A hand full of soil or dirt
• 12- 15 inches of Green or gold thread
• A piece of parchment paper and pen
• A fire-safe plate 
• Earth Elemental Oil or Attraction Oil (optional)

To begin, write down all the areas in your life you wish to manifest or grow on your piece of paper. Lay this paper flat on a table top or altar. On top of this, place your soil and 7 seeds. On top of this, add 9 drops of Earth Elemental or Attraction oil. Finally, place your fire-safe plate directly on top so it is completely covering your petition, soil and seeds.

Now get your thread. You are going to tie a total of 5 knots in it.

As you tie the first knot, say the following, “Come East, Come Air”

As you tie the second knot, say the following, “Come South, Come Fire”

As you tie the third knot, say the following, “Come West, Come Water”

As you tie the fourth knot, say the following, “Come North, Come  Earth“

As you tie the fifth knot, say the following, “I wind, I bind, this spell is mine”

Get your green candle and tie the thread around the candle. Place this is an appropriate candle hold and put this on top of your plate. When ready, light the candle and recite the following charm:

 "By the Stars above and Earth Below

Earth Within and Earth without

From East to West and North to South

These seeds I sow shall begin to grow"

When you are finished with the spell, take your soil and seeds and wrap it with your piece of parchment paper. Bury this in your backyard. If you do not have a backyard, take it to a park and bury it.
