The source of any decent Van Van recipe is the blend of vetiver, citronella, lemon grass and palmarosa. Also, it is one of the oldest New Orleans Hoodoo oils, historically speaking. This specific oil is known for opening doors, bringing success, helping people clear obstacles and even bringing people good luck. Van Van oil can be used on talismans, mojo bags and in spiritual baths. When it comes to this oil there are no limits, and it is worth mentioning that it is made from all natural ingredients that is all blended into a silky Sweet Almond Carrier oil. It comes in a 1/2 oz glass bottle.
Van Van oil seems to work the best with candle rituals, and it is usually anointed on Orange or Yellow candles. You will also find it great when you want to petition a saint. In matter of fact our Lady of Charity is commonly petitioned in order to bring in a brand new lover, to become successful in one's goals and for prosperity. Our Lady of Charity is represented by yellow and you can find her by visiting your local grocery store and looking in the ethnic section. You can also use the oil to make a vision board that includes all of your goals, or take a piece of paper and write down all of your goals on it. Dab a bit of Van Van oil on it and place it under a glass encased candle. Orange candles work good for this and so do white candles. Anoint the candle, starting at the middle and pull the oil up towards the top. The next step is to visualize or say a prayer. You may also want to recite psalm 23.
You may also wear Van Van oil or dab a bit in the bath tub. It's great to put on important documents such as loan applications, bank statements, resumes and even business cards. Dab a bit in the heel of your shoes or put it directly on some cash and keep it in your wallet.
